Return and Refund Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through aeska.co regardless of your country of residence. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws.
1. Return period
You may request a return within 30 days from the date your order is delivered.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days without giving a reason (the "cooling-off period"), pursuant to Directive 2011/83/EU. Our 30-day window gives you more time than the statutory minimum.
If you are located in Australia, you are also entitled to remedies under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) for goods that are faulty, not fit for purpose, or not as described - regardless of our standard return window.
If you are located in New Zealand, you are entitled to similar protections under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
2. Eligibility conditions
To be eligible for a standard return, the item must:
- Be unused and in its original condition
- Be returned in its original packaging
- Not be listed as a non-returnable item (see section 7)
Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be approved. This does not affect your statutory rights for defective or misdescribed items.
3. How to request a return
To initiate a return, contact us at support@aeska.co and include:
- Your order number
- The reason for your return
- Photos if the item is damaged or incorrect
Do not send items back without prior written approval. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted and we cannot guarantee a refund in such cases.
Once your return is approved, you will receive detailed return instructions including the return address.
4. Return shipping costs
Standard return
$6.00
Deducted from refund. Covers return shipping and handling.
Defective / wrong item
$0.00
AESKA covers all return costs. No fee applied.
EU/EEA customers: if you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise. The $6 fee covers this cost. If we have failed to inform you of the return cost prior to purchase, we will bear the cost.
5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund within 7 business days to your original payment method.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable for standard returns
- Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (typically 3-10 business days after we issue the refund)
- Refunds will be issued in the currency of the original transaction
EU/EEA customers: Under your right of withdrawal, we are required to refund you within 14 days of receiving your returned goods, or within 14 days of you providing proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier. We aim to process within 7 business days.
6. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, please contact us at support@aeska.co within a reasonable time of delivery, including photos of the issue.
In these cases, AESKA will at our cost provide either:
- A free replacement
- A full refund including original shipping costs
- A partial refund if you choose to keep the item
Australian and New Zealand customers: your rights under the ACL and Consumer Guarantees Act apply in addition to and are not limited by this policy. For major failures you are entitled to a refund, and for minor failures we may repair or replace the goods.
7. Non-returnable items
The following items are not eligible for standard returns:
- Items marked as final sale or clearance at time of purchase
- Gift cards
- Items that have been used, damaged, or altered after delivery
- Opened hygiene-sensitive products
These exclusions do not apply to items that are defective or not as described. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
8. Taxes, duties, and import fees
European Union
AESKA collects and remits VAT in most EU member states in accordance with EU VAT regulations (OSS scheme). For the majority of EU orders, VAT is included in the price shown at checkout and no additional charges will apply upon delivery.
However, depending on the destination country, order value, and shipping route, some orders may be subject to local import VAT or customs handling fees collected by the carrier or customs authority. If you are unsure whether additional charges may apply to your order, we strongly encourage you to contact us at support@aeska.co before placing your order.
United Kingdom
VAT is collected at checkout for orders shipped to the UK in accordance with UK VAT regulations. No additional VAT should be due upon delivery.
United States
AESKA collects and remits sales tax in US states where we have nexus or are required to do so under applicable state law. The applicable sales tax rate, if any, will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
For orders valued below the US de minimis threshold ($800 USD), no import duties are assessed by US Customs and Border Protection. For orders exceeding this threshold, customs duties may apply and you, as the importer of record, are responsible for any such charges.
Australia and New Zealand
GST is collected at checkout for orders shipped to Australia and New Zealand where applicable. For AU orders over AUD 1,000 and NZ orders over NZD 1,000, customs duty may apply and is the responsibility of the customer.
Other countries (including Canada and Switzerland)
For orders shipped to Canada, Switzerland, and other countries not listed above, you may be classified as the importer of record under local customs regulations. This means you may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or VAT/GST upon delivery, depending on your country's import thresholds and rules.

Import duties and customs fees are charged by your local customs authority and are not collected by AESKA. These charges are non-refundable in the event of a return.
9. US consumer rights
If you are a consumer located in the United States, the following additional terms apply:
- This policy does not waive any implied warranties that cannot be disclaimed under applicable state law.
- If you are located in California, you may contact the California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210, if you have a complaint that is not resolved by us.
- Residents of New Jersey, Ohio, and other states with specific consumer protection statutes retain all rights provided by applicable state law.
- Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act if a written warranty is provided with your product.
10. Chargebacks and disputes
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. We respond to all customer inquiries and will work to resolve issues quickly. Initiating a chargeback before contacting us may delay the resolution process.
